Microsoft updates Groove Music for Windows Insiders on the Fast ring - here's what's new

Microsoft released an update for Groove Music today to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring. Unlike the Movies & TV update that was also offered, this one is Windows-only, rather than also for Xbox One Preview Program members.

Here is the "newness" included in today's update:

  • When you're offline, it's easier to see what's playable. When you're connected again, online pages automatically refresh.

  • Search auto-suggestions on Xbox can easily be seen and accessed directly above the on screen keyboard.

  • We added additional accessibility context in UI components allowing narrator to be more descriptive when reading user context.

  • Notifications will remain on screen as long as they have focus, otherwise they will automatically dismiss.

  • We improved the persistent header in collection pages to remove graphical glitches and increase the smoothness of scrolling.

As you can see, the new features are pretty minor, but it's always nice to get improvements in Microsoft's entertainment suite of apps. As with all Insider updates, the company hopes that you'll provide your thoughts on it through the Feedback Hub.

The version number is 10.16092.1025, and the last update that Insiders saw was only three weeks ago. The update is live for the Fast ring now, and you can get it right here.
