While iPhone users have had third-party keyboards for a couple years, Android users have been spoiled for quite some time. Among the most well-known of the third-party keyboards is SwiftKey, which features a predictive dictionary that learns based on what you write and included the ability to swipe around your keyboard. After SwiftKey was made free to download, its primary monetization method became selling additional premium themes to their users.
SwiftKey is changing that for "the holiday season", however, and has made all of its themes free to download for all users on Android and iOS. In an email sent to SwiftKey's customers, the company mentions that it "wanted to spread a little SwiftKey cheer." In addition to making its themes free, it has also created an exclusive theme that is only for SwiftKey customers that have paid for a theme in the past.

With the holiday season upon us, we wanted to spread a little SwiftKey cheer of our own – which is why we're excited to tell you that all themes on SwiftKey are now completely free!
Simply head to the SwiftKey Store on Android and find over 100 themes to customize your SwiftKey Keyboard's color and design. There, you'll also find the new 'Vivid' themes that have been added to the SwiftKey Store (which are, of course, also free).
