Shadow Warrior: Special Edition is free on the Humble Store for the next two days

With previous giveaways of Rising Storm and Killing Floor behind it, the Humble Store is now giving away another fantastic game for the low, low price of absolutely free, and this time it is the Shadow Warrior: Special Edition.

Developed by Flying Wild Hog, 2013's Shadow Warrior reboot features escapades involving the ninja Lo Wang, who is highly skilled in both dangerous weaponry and hilarious banter. The game is played in the first person perspective, with a large arsenal of weaponry on hand, ranging from a powerful katana with various abilities to shurikens and dual-wielded assault rifles.

The game's synopsis taken from the store page that players can vaguely follow while chopping up demons in the storyline is as follows:

Shadow Warrior tells the offbeat tale of Zilla Enterprise's corporate shogun Lo Wang as he is ordered to acquire a legendary blade of limitless power by his deceitful employer. Betrayed and left for dead, Lo Wang learns of the blade's connection to ancient gods from another realm preparing to push our world to the brink of destruction. Now the reluctant hero must become legend through a masterful combination of gun, blade, magic and wit to uncover the truth behind the demonic invasion and banish evil back into the darkness.

As the Humble Store is giving away the game's Special Edition, it also arrives with a couple of bonus weapons from Serious Sam 3 and Hotline Miami, as well as the Shadow Warrior art book and its official soundtrack.

Originally priced at $49.99, Shadow Warrior: Special Edition will be available to claim for free via its Humble Store page for the next two days. Moreover, for anyone also interested in the original Shadow Warrior from 1997, both Steam and GOG (DRM free) offer the classic title for free.
