In less than a month, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note9 at its Unpacked event. While there have been plenty of rumors and leaks about the upcoming and unannounced handset, it looks like an official render of the device has now found its way online.
According to the folks at AndriodHeadlines, the image you see in this article is of the Galaxy Note9. The render comes from a reliable source and is reportedly an official render. As you can see, the handset looks to be very similar to last year's model, the Galaxy Note8.
Although similar in its look, there is speculation that the rear of the device will look different from its predecessor, moving the fingerprint reader and camera positions. Last year's model had the fingerprint reader right next to the camera sensors, leaving many to gripe about how it could cause the camera lenses to get smudged. Samsung corrected this issue in its Galaxy S9 models earlier this year, so a change in the Note9 will most likely be the case.
As far as other specifications, the phone could arrive with a 6.4-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. There have also been reports that it could beef up the RAM to 8GB and also bump up the internal storage to 512GB. Perhaps more interesting will be the S Pen stylus that will come packaged with the Note9, as it is rumored that it will connect via Bluetooth to the handset, enhancing its usefulness, like being able to be used for music playback controls.
With Samsung's Unpacked Event taking place on August 9, we don't have much time to wait before officially seeing the handset.
