Microsoft's new Xbox Game Bar is now available for Windows 10

Last month, Microsoft announced a bunch of improvements that are coming to its Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10. Today, the update is now available for Windows 10 version 1809 and above, according to the Xbox Wire blog.

The update adds a bunch of new widgets with new functionality. For example, there's a Broadcast & Capture widget that now lets you turn your screenshots into memes. Previously, it was easy to take a screenshot or clip and share it, but now you can add a caption to the image without leaving your game.

There's also a Spotify widget, which does exactly what you'd think. You can sign into your Spotify account and play music or podcasts while you're playing a game. You can also adjust the volume from the audio widget, in case the music is too loud for the game you're playing. You'll need the Spotify app for Windows 10 installed for this feature to work.

There are new social features in the Xbox Game Bar, allowing you to chat with your friends on Xbox Live, watch their streams from Mixer, or send them the meme you just made in the Broadcast & Capture widget. You can also use the LFG feature to find teammates.

Finally, the new update lets you customize the UI. Again, this all has widgets in mind, allowing you to choose which ones to show or hide, where they'll be, and you can pin that ones you like best.

The update for the Xbox Game Bar will arrive via the Microsoft Store.
