Microsoft adds Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 HD to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Just a couple of weeks ago Microsoft added two Call of Juarez games to its ever-enlarging Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, and today, that list grows once again with the addition of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 HD bundle.

The classic Konami collection originally arrived to the Xbox 360 almost a decade ago, and includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Those with Xbox One consoles who don't own the bundle already are now able to jump in and experience the two games by purchasing it via the link below:

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 HD - $19.99

Metal Gear Solid 2: After the Shadow Moses incident, technological data on the nuclear-armed walking tank "Metal Gear" leaks onto the black market. Solid Snake and his allies form the anti-Metal Gear NGO “Philanthropy” and set out in pursuit of a tanker carrying a new Metal Gear prototype.

Metal Gear Solid 3: The origin of the Metal Gear series begins in 1964 at the height of the Cold War. Naked Snake—the man who would later become the legendary soldier known as Big Boss—heads into Soviet territory to help the scientist Sokolov defect to the West.

Meanwhile, any Xbox Live Gold members who've yet to grab this month's Games with Gold have until October 15 to claim Livelock and Stuntman: Ignition. As for Overcooked, the cooperative title will be available to claim until October 31.
