It was October when Microsoft surprised everyone by announcing that its Edge browser was coming to iOS and Android. The browser came out of beta in November, but it wasn't really done. Along with support for the iPhone X's 19.5:9 display, it was also missing iPad support.
Microsoft's Sean Lyndersay said in January that iPad support would be coming in early February, and although Microsoft is a bit late, iPad support is finally here. Well, to be clear, it's here for those that are enrolled in the beta program on iOS.
The update released today is 41.12 (12.0.0), and it replaced 41.10.1 (10.1.0). Along with support for Apple's tablets, there's also an improved sign in/out experience. And as usual, there are some good old performance improvements.
If you're on the beta program on iOS, you'll be able to download the new update from Apple's TestFlight app. If not, it shouldn't be too long before we see this update made available to the general public.
