The second season of Telltale Games' Batman series debuted in August with The Enigma, followed by The Pact in October. And now it is almost time for Batman: The Enemy Within's third episode to make its appearance.
The upcoming episode is titled Fractured Mask, and anyone who isn't bothered with spoilers can catch its new trailer above, and read the Telltale-provided episode description below.
After an unexpected reunion, Bruce finds his attention (and his loyalties) stretched in yet another direction. Now, in addition to brokering a power struggle between Commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller, Bruce must balance romantic entanglements with his mission to infiltrate the Pact. As he plunges deeper into the criminal underworld, the villains' plan starts to come into focus, but will his deceptions take a dire toll?
Neowin's Usama Jawad has reviewed both of this season's episodes. While he gave high praise to the game's first episode, The Enigma, he called The Pact a "weak entry". Keep an eye out next week for our review of the third episode.
Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 3, Fractured Mask, is heading for Windows, macOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices on November 21.
Telltale Games recently laid off 25% of its workforce, so we will have to wait and see if the restructuring has affected any of its upcoming games and episodes.
