Nokia is back at it again, releasing a couple of new devices to market. However, this time, the phones are not so "smart" in nature and cater to more basic usage scenarios.

Although it is the most basic of phones, the Nokia 106 looks quite sleek with its smooth lines and muted matte finish. It is made from polycarbonate and also has a 1.6-inch display. The device can hold up to 2,000 contacts and also has room for up to 500 text messages. It is powered by a MediaTek 6261D processor, 4MB RAM, and it has an 800mAh removable battery. The battery will offer up to 21 days of standby and is rated for up to 15 hours of talk time.

Meanwhile, the Nokia 230 isn't a new entry but ups the ante a bit, offering better materials and specifications. The rear is made from a sandblasted aluminum and it also features a larger 2.8-inch display. It has 2MP rear and front-facing cameras. It will allow users to access the internet with its Opera Mini browser as well. Although it only offers 16MB of internal storage, that space can be expanded via its microSD slot. As far as power goes, the unit has a 1,200mAh battery and now you will have two new color options: Dark Blue and Light Grey.
