Google reveals promotional videos for its new line of products for 2018

Today, Google revealed a slew of products at its Made By Google 2018 event. While the announcements are now complete and many journalists are getting their hands on the units revealed, Google has also posted several product videos about the newly announced devices on its YouTube page.

The Google Home Hub is the firm's smart display with Assistant built-in. The display offers a way to see your schedule at a glance and while also give the user control of their connected home. The display isn't just for reading your Google Mail or checking directions on Google Maps, but can also be used to watch videos on YouTube. The Home Hub is available for pre-order in four different colors and costs $149.

The Google Pixel Slate is the firm's first Chrome OS tablet. Google isn't positioning this as a PC replacement but it can be used for both fun and work. The 12-3-inch Molecular Display offers incredible picture quality according to Google and its dual stereo front-facing speakers should produce quite a bit of noise. There is also an optional backlit keyboard accessory, along with a stylus. The units starts at $599 and can get as pricey as $1,599.

The event wouldn't be complete without its often leaked Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The devices offer the latest in terms of processor, making use of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 and pack 4GB RAM. As far as the design, the Pixel 3 XL offers a large 6.3-inch display with a notch, while the Pixel 3 keeps things more traditional with its heavy bordered 5.5-inch display. The Pixel 3 will start at $799 and the Pixel 3 XL will start at $899.

Google has finally introduced wireless charging into its phones with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, and as such, the firm has also debuted its Pixel Stand wireless charger. The stand looks pretty plain but does keep your phone upright when charging.

All of the products mentioned above with exception to the Pixel Slate can now be pre-ordered from the Google Store.
