Games with Gold: Q.U.B.E. 2 and Dragon Age 2 are now free

Xbox Live Gold members can now add two more games to their libraries for free, as Microsoft has pushed out the first wave of the December Games with Gold. Sticking to the schedule, Q.U.B.E. 2 for the Xbox One and Dragon Age 2 for the Xbox 360 are now available to claim. Also, thanks to the backward compatibility program, the latter title can be collected by Xbox One owners.

Use the store links down below to grab the games right away:

Q.U.B.E. 2 (Xbox One)

Q.U.B.E. 2 is the sequel to the hit first-person puzzle game Q.U.B.E. You are Amelia Cross, a stranded archaeologist who has mysteriously awoken among the sand swept ruins of an ancient alien landscape. Together with the distant help of another survivor, Commander Emma Sutcliffe, you must traverse and manipulate the structure of this forgotten world to find a way back home.

Dragon Age 2 (Xbox 360, Xbox One)

You are one of the few who escaped the destruction of your home. Now, forced to fight for survival in an ever-changing world, you must gather the deadliest of allies, amass fame and fortune, and seal your place in history. This is the story of how the world changed forever.

Don't forget that Race the Sun from the November Games with Gold is still available to claim for Xbox One players. The speedy title's promotion is slated to be replaced by Never Alone on December 16.

The usual Games with Gold rules apply to the new freebies, where claimed Xbox 360 games will remain playable even if the Gold subscription is discontinued, while claimed Xbox One games require an active subscription to play. Xbox Live Gold subscriptions are currently discounted on the Microsoft Store as well, where three months of Gold can be had for $9.99 and one month for $1.

Microsoft also has some big December plans for the Xbox Game Pass subscription program, with the service receiving Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Strange Brigade, Ori and the Blind Forest, and more games throughout the month.
