Apple's new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR will soon be available for purchase

Apple's new Mac Pro, dubbed by Tim Cook as the company's most powerful computer to date, was announced back in WWDC in June this year. While the official release date was not set in stone, initial reports suggested that the two would be up for purchase sometime in fall this year. And as fall draws to a close, we potentially had an early peek at the upcoming Mac Pro in Calvin Harris' studio ahead of its release.

To complement the computational power of the Mac Pro, Apple also introduced the Pro Display XDR, a 32-inch 6K Retina display boasting a resolution of 6,016 x 3,384 as well. While we haven't heard much about it since then, it seems that both devices, the Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR, will finally be up for purchase.

According to an email sent out by Apple to its customers (as confirmed by Marques Brownlee and others on Twitter), the new Mac Pro alongside the Pro Display XDR will be available to order come December 10.

While the December 10 date makes good on the alleged fall window, Apple did not confirm the delivery dates for the custom configurations of the Mac Pro. However, those should be clear once the computer is up for purchase.

The new Mac Pro starts at $5,999. That model comes with an eight-core Xeon processor, 32GB of RAM, Radeon Pro 580X, and a 256GB SSD. On the other hand, the Pro Display XDR will start at $4,999 and the standard VESA mount will be available for $199.
