Bethesda's immersive experience at E3 2018

When it comes to putting on a show, Bethesda has been known to wow crowds with its presentations, generally featuring an impressive lineup of games. In order to celebrate the announcements during this year's E3, the developer has set up a gargantuan show booth, giving show-goers a chance to not only sample some of its titles, but also soak in the atmosphere.

To say that the show booth is impressive would be an understatement. While it is massive in size when compared to some of its competitors, it also has plenty of activities, becoming an immersive experience. As you arrive, you'll see a setup for Fallout 76, folks from the booth inviting the onlooking crowd to join in the fun and register to vote. Of course, this is all just for fun, but you can go through the process, get logged in and play pretend by celebrating with a party hat, streamers, beverage, and Vault Boy mask.

There were demo kiosks for RAGE 2 and also DOOM Eternal. Those interested in purchasing gear from the developer were also treated to a whole slew of different options. Bethesda also had a few cases showing off some of its upcoming merchandise that will be available through various retailers, with many of the items looking quite impressive.

There was an area to experience Quake Champions, a game that can be added to your library for free if you choose to download it this week. Visitors were also treated to an early look at The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a free-to-play mobile RPG game set to arrive later this year. While all of this is going on, you aren't simply walking from station to station, playing games, but are treated with changing environments that could be taken from the game's environments.

While there is nothing wrong with a simple lineup of demo kiosks, sometimes its just the atmosphere that can make all the difference when trying something for the first time, with the moment being capable of leaving a lasting impression that goes far beyond the game.
