The new Brydge keyboards make the new iPad Pro look like a real laptop

Apple touts the latest iPad Pro as being better than your laptop, and though there are some things holding it back from feeling like one, you can at least get a similar look thanks to the latest announcement from Brydge. The company's new keyboards for the iPad Pro allow you to dock the tablet into the keyboard so that it feels and looks very much like a regular laptop.

As of right now, there really aren't a lot of details regarding the product, except that it's coming sometime in 2019 and it will offer options for both the 11- and 12.9-inch models. Like the company's other keyboards, it works over Bluetooth, so you technically don't need to use it in a laptop form factor, but that's clearly what it's meant for.

Brydge already has a bit of a reputation for this kind of product, having released similar products for the Surface Pro as well. If you're more into Google products, the Pixel Slate will also be receiving its own Bluetooth keyboard which makes it feel like a laptop.

If you want to be among the first to get the new Brydge keyboards for the iPad Pro, you can sign up to be notified when more details are announced. And, while you're at it, you might find the new HyperDrive dongle useful, since it adds a few ports to the device using its USB Type-C connector.
