Sony has launched its mid-range Xperia XA1 Plus in India

Last month at IFA 2017, Sony announced a new mid-range device, the Xperia XA1 Plus, along with the high-end XZ1 and XZ1 Compact. The firm has now launched XA1 Plus in India, offering "best in class entertainment in the palm of your hand".

The key features of this device are its cameras. The phone has a 23MP f/2.0 rear camera with 1/2.3" Exmor RS sensor for capturing detailed low-light photos and a 23mm wide-angle 8MP front-facing shooter.

Powered by MediaTek Helio P20 chipset, the handset packs 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and a 3430 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charging support. The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, but Sony intends to offer an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. Moreover, the device offers a USB Type-C, the ClearAudio+ sound technology, a fingerprint sensor and a sleek unibody design.

Xperia XA1 Plus comes in black, gold, and blue color options and will be available in Sony Center and retail stores across the country for ₹24,990 (roughly $385) from tomorrow.
