Here's how and where to watch the Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event

Samsung Electronics is holding the Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event on August 9th at 11AM EDT. The event will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will be livestreamed worldwide.

Samsung will use multiple channels to broadcast the livestream. Below is the list of official outlets that Samsung will provide:

After rounds of rumors and leaks, we expect the Galaxy Note9 to debut at the event. Unlike the global release, the Korean version of the press release states that Samsung will unveil "new Galaxy products" in the event, indicating that other devices will be announced alongside the handset. The recently leaked Galaxy Watch is one possible candidate and other accessories may follow as well.

Recent leaks also suggested that the popular free-to-play shooter Fortnite may make its Android debut exclusively through Samsung's own Galaxy Apps Store while entirely skipping the Google Play Store. If the leaks prove to be accurate, Samsung may push Fortnite as one of the killer apps for the Galaxy Note9 during the event.

Samsung, however, warns users that the livestream will not be available via Internet Explorer browsers. Also, mobile devices require the latest version of Chrome or the YouTube app to watch the event.
