Earlier this week, Xbox fans rejoiced when Microsoft's Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) announced that the Xbox Onesie was going to begin selling on Friday. As it turns out, that's not quite the case. There were some quality issues, and the garments are now going to be sold at a later date.
The Xbox Onesie was first unveiled in August 2016 as a promotional item for the Australian launch of the Xbox One S. Major Nelson ended up giving some away, but despite demand from the fans, the item was never sold. In fact, Microsoft even officially said that it was never going to be sold and that it was only a promotional item.
The Xbox Onesie, or Xbox Union Suit as it's now called, is going to come in the black and white variants that it was originally shown off in, and a blue Fallout 76 variant as well. It includes large pockets to fit your controllers, pouches on the arms for mobile phone storage, grips on the forearms so you won't slip off the arm of the chair, and an extra-large hood to accommodate headsets.
Hryb said that he will announce new pre-order and ship dates when they're available.
