A refurbished Core i5 variant of the Surface Pro is $170 off until June 2

A few days ago, Microsoft removed the Core i5 / 4GB RAM version of the Surface Pro from its Store, due in no small part to the introduction of a new entry-level Core i5 model with double the RAM. Now, the Redmond giant is running a promotion for a refurbished Core i5 / 256GB SSD / 8GB RAM variant.

The deal is valid for purchases via the Microsoft online and retail stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, and runs until 11:59 PM PST on June 2. The hybrid device can be had for $939 rather than its normal $1,109 price tag, which means you'd save $170. It's also worth noting that there is a three offer limit per customer.

Unfortunately, the only one to receive a discount seems to be the version listed above. In case you want to take advantage of this offer, you can put the savings towards the purchase of a Surface Pen or Cover. Furthermore, you also get $20 off an Office 365 Home or Personal subscription when you buy this device.
