Microsoft Store now tells users which movies work with Movies Anywhere

Just yesterday, Microsoft officially announced that its Movies & TV service has joined Disney's Movies Anywhere again, after leaving the service late last year. Now, the company has added a badge to the Microsoft Store listings of movies that are compatible with the cross-platform offering from Disney.

Movies that can be bought once and played anywhere will now showcase the Movies Anywhere logo under their name. Right now, the Microsoft Store lists over 70 titles which are compatible with the service, including the recently released Avengers: Infinity War.

The ability to buy a movie or show on one platform and watch it on any device is already pretty compelling by itself, but Microsoft is sweetening the pot for users by giving away X-men: Days of the Future Past for free, a movie which has an 8/10 rating on IMDb. The offer is available by linking your Movies & TV account to Movies Anywhere and runs through August 28. Naturally, being that Disney's service is only available in the United States, the offer only applies there as well.
